I didn’t set out to become a coach—life set me on this path.

As a Sheriff’s Deputy, I was injured in the line of duty and forced to walk away from the career I had built and the identity I had known. That loss hit hard. I didn't just lose a job—I lost purpose, connection, and a sense of who I was. Like many in law enforcement and the military, I didn’t know how to ask for help. Instead, I numbed the physical and emotional pain with alcohol, isolating myself from the people who cared.

Eventually, I hit a point where something had to change. I committed to doing the hard inner workhealing, rebuilding, and finding a new mission. That process wasn't easy, but it gave me something powerful: a new purpose!

Now, I help others find their way back.

As a certified personal gestalt coachand someone still serving in the National GuardI work with military members, veterans, first responders, and others who are quietly carrying heavy burdens. People who may look strong on the outside, but are fighting battles no one sees.

How I Can Help

If you’re feeling stuck, burned out, disconnected, or just plain lost—I’ve been there. I understand the mindset, the pride, the pressure, and the fear of vulnerability. I also know what it takes to move forward.

It started in bootcamp and carried us throughout our careers, that shared hardship of grueling workouts, encouraging each other, challenging each other. Whether you’re transitioning out of service, struggling in silence, or ready to take the next step toward healing—I’m here to walk that path with you.

Through coaching, I offer:

You don’t have to do this alone.

How I came to Gestalt Coaching

I discovered Gestalt Coaching during one of the darkest, most difficult, times in my life. I had tried everything, traditional therapy, holistic approaches, and more. Some of it helped, but I still wasn’t getting better.

I was numbing with alcohol, my career as a Sheriff’s Deputy was ending, I wasn’t sure I’d stay in the National Guard, I was in chronic physical and emotional pain, still grieving the loss of both of my parents, my marriage was struggling, all the while trying to be a mom to my young son.

I was used to downplaying everything and pushing through it all, but I was at a breaking point.

The Gestalt Coach didn’t see me as broken, she helped me see how my past experiences (Including childhood) influenced my present, and helped me take control. It wasn’t easy but relief came, change started, and I’m forever grateful for the hope I received that day.

That is why I became a Gestalt coach with the niche of military and first responders who joined to serve and protect others but found it difficult to take care of themselves when the time came.

What is working with me as a Gestalt Coach?

Gestalt coaching is a co-active coaching model, which means I work with you to bring you new awareness so you can start living a more fulfilling life.

I work in a non-diagnostic model. I'm not trained to label or diagnosebecause I’m not a therapistbut most people say the results are therapeutic.

As a coach, I’m helping you see that we’ve all had experiences in our past, some good, some bad, that have shaped how we react in the presentoften in ways we are not fully aware of. With new awareness you will move forward with the clarity and strength to make better choices.

 Gestalt and Human Dynamics

The Gestalt Coaching Method incorporates Gestalt theory. Gestalt is a German word loosely translated to mean wholeness. The process of Gestalt in coaching can be seen as a journey to wholeness. Most therapeutic approaches look to the past, forming labels and diagnosis to explain behaviors. Our Gestalt coaches, or “Gestaltists”, work in the present, seeing their clients as a totality of life experience during which defenses and strategies form. The Gestalt process holds that each client has inherent healing wisdom that is outside of their present awareness.

Other reasons people seek out coaching:

Clarity on Personal values, mission and vision statements, career/retirement goals or transition.

Performance Enhancement Confidence in public speaking, leadership skills, healthier habits formed like never before.

Stress and anxiety To include grief, loss of any kind, and day to day issues.

Accountability Unbiased feedback, new perspective, a coach is an ally like no other!

We weren’t meant to do this alone. Coaching with me brings back the connection we had when we trained together—real, raw, and built on trust.

Ready to Take the First Step?

One of the people I admire most, a fellow veteran, once told me, “No one is interested in what you can’t do”. It sounded harsh at first, but he followed it with, “Let’s focus on what you can do.

Another veteran reminded me, “Own your recovery—no one else can do it for you”.

These words stuck with me. They weren’t just tough love—they were truth. And now I share them with you.

I care. I’m here. But you have to show up and do the work. If you’re ready—and only you know when that moment comes—I invite you to schedule your free introductory coaching session.

No pressure. No sales pitch. Just one conversation that could change everything.

Let’s talk.
